Sonnet

I wake up every day praying to God
My friends are not fake, a life with delight
Laughter yet no fear with no dark fraud
Having lots of fun until I realize

Life is not the fairytale we dreamed
Our lives change so much they seem like a stream
Who never lie, destroy, or believe
All the fake things people have under their sleeve

Someone to lift me up when I am down,
with attractive words you dry my sad tears.
And make me smile instead of frown,
With friendships that will last many years.

Holes

This song is named "Holes"by Passenger and it is about a family and the dad abandons his wife and his kids. Even though the father did not love the kids enough to stay, the kids love their father and they feel they have holes in their hearts and lives because the absence of their dad.
"Now he left a in hole in my heart a hole in a promise a hole on the side of my bed
Oh now that he's gone well life carries on and I miss him like a hole in the head
Well sometimes you cant change and you cant choose
And sometimes it seems you gain less than you lose"
This song lyrics relates to Hamlet because Hamlet is living the death of his dad and he feels miserable. Hamlet is torn about what he should do, he doesn't know if he should revenge the death of his father because he doesn't want to kill anyone, and because his mother married the man who had killed his father (Claudius) who was also his father brother. After Claudius married Queen Gertrude, Claudius asks Hamlet why is he so sad and Hamlet answers him with evasion and tells him that the loss of his father it was still deeply affecting him.

Allusion

I am sick at heart (I i)

Francisco was on guard at night at the Elsinor Castle in the cold, he was freezing, and he is dreaming of being asleep, safe and warm. He might be sick at heart because it is not only the physical things that make you feel ill but also our emotions. Maybe he is sad because he is not at home, but the play never answers with is Francisco truly sad.
